Privacy policy

This policy explains the information Blueprint may handle when you use the Blueprint Local Houston pilot and how you can contact us about it.

Effective July 22, 2026

Scope

This policy applies to the Blueprint Local Houston website and related communications operated by Blueprint. The pilot is an event-discovery publication. Links to organizers, ticket providers, advertisers, and other third parties lead to services with their own privacy practices.

Information we may receive

We may receive information you choose to send, such as your name, email address, organization, event details, correction request, message, and submitted media. Our systems and hosting providers may also process technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, device and browser information, requested pages, timestamps, referring pages, and security logs.

If analytics, consent controls, or affiliate links are enabled, we and the relevant providers may process identifiers and interaction information—such as page views, link clicks, referral data, and transaction attribution—subject to their configurations and policies. We do not receive your full payment-card details when you purchase from an unaffiliated third-party seller.

Why we use information

We may use information to operate and secure the site; publish and update event listings; respond to questions, submissions, rights requests, and corrections; understand site use; measure affiliate referrals; prevent abuse; keep operational records; and comply with applicable obligations.

When information may be shared

Information may be processed by vendors that help us host, secure, analyze, communicate, and operate the publication. Affiliate and advertising partners may receive referral or interaction data when you use their links or tools. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to protect the service or others, respond to lawful process, investigate misuse, or support a business transaction. We do not describe affiliate attribution as a sale of tickets; the third-party seller controls its transaction.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably useful for the purpose collected, operational records, dispute resolution, security, or applicable requirements. Retention can vary by record and provider. We use reasonable safeguards, but no website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices

You can choose not to submit optional information. Browser and device settings may help control cookies or similar storage. To ask about personal information you submitted, email billy@useblueprint.co. We may need to verify a request and may retain information where permitted or required. Rights and available appeal processes vary by location.

Children

The publication is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to us, contact us so we can review the report.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the pilot and its providers change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Questions can be sent to billy@useblueprint.co.
